(Immediately after hiring) The candidate will collaborate with faculty members of the Theoretical
Chemistry Laboratory to contribute to research, education, and administrative duties within the Faculty
and Graduate School of Science. Responsibilities include developing original theoretical frameworks
by integrating laboratory-specific methodologies—such as the Artificial Force Induced Reaction (AFIR)
method and the Virtual Ligand method—with the candidate’s own ideas, and applying these frameworks
to the understanding and prediction of chemical reactions. The role also involves educational activities,
including supervising programming exercises for second-year chemistry students and conducting
introductory chemistry experiments for first-year students.
